The goal of the Brilliant Customer Service program is to help employees be more brilliant at the basics of delivering reliable, responsive, high-quality services by putting the USVI Government's Customer Service Standards into action.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Join colleagues from across the USVI Government to discuss and practice techniques for applying the Government's Customer Service Standards to our interactions with the people we serve. Our Customer Service Standards are anchored by values chosen by employees across the Government of the U.S. Virgin Islands (GVI) during the first half of 2017:

LEARNING OUTCOMES
(These learning outcomes are subject to modification by the Division of Personnel.)
As a result of their full participation in this program, learners should be able to:

- Communicate respectfully and clearly with all customers in various situations.
- De-escalate tense situations through strategic language and behavior.
- Use an easy process to understand a customer's needs effectively.
- Prioritize responsiveness to customer requests, regardless of size or complexity.
- Resolve customers' issues accurately, efficiently, and with timeliness.
- Empower a customer by providing relevant, helpful information and actively involving the customer in the problem-solving process.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Individuals employed with the Government of the U.S. Virgin Islands
WORKSHOP DURATION: 5 hours total over 2 consecutive days (2.5 hours each day)
WORKSHOP TIME: 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.
LOCATION: Microsoft Teams video conferencing platform. (The join link will be emailed directly to participants before the first day of their scheduled workshop.)
COST: Free
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Ask your Human Resources (HR) office to register you for an upcoming workshop.
NOTE: Please get clearance from your supervisor for the workshop dates you are interested in.
